Between 1997-1999, she played active role in foundation of State Conservatoire in Ankara University where she also acted as an instructor Akbar"s first album "Su" (Water) which included preludes for piano was made in 1999. She recorded improvisational duo pieces for piano and ney with Suleyman Erguner and composed the original soundtrack of a documentary entitled "Koy Enstituleri" (Rural Institutes) directed by Can Dundar. In year 2002, transcription of Vivaldi"s violin concerto "Four Seasons" for solo piano was released. Vivaldi"s Four Seasons is the only Turkish classical music album to be included in the Sony Classical Catalogue. Her album entitled "bir"den Bir"e", was also released in year 2002 in collaboration with Rana Pirinccioglu and Zara. After "bir"den Bir"e", Anjelika Akbar entered the market with a new album named Bach A L"Orientale in which she brings Bach"s music and ethnic musicians together. Her last album, containing her own compositions and arrangements, "One Sip of Water" is released in the year 2005.

Anjelika Akbar played at the opening concert of 10. Cemal Resit Rey Piano Festival (December-2004). Akbar played her Piano Concerto No.1 "Love Circle" in this concert. Anjelika Rosenbaum Akbar has composed many works for symphonies and chamber orchestras, choruses, piano and other instruments and has performed many concerts in central Asia, the Baltic Republics, Russia, India, Germany and Turkey. She continues to give concerts and recitals, publishing of her compositions and albums. She is the UNESCO National Committee member for Uzbekistan.
